I am a hopeless romantic and dreamer. In the story of the ant and the grasshopper I am definitely the grasshopper. I dream of running away to Chile and starting my own vineyard, or travelling the world in a trawler and writing for a living. But, to pay the bills I am a charter pilot for a small airline in Nash-vegas. For most of my adult life I was a Marine Corps officer, and was fortunate to be stationed in a lot of great places and to have made some of the best friends a person could ever have. I am engaged to the most beautiful, intelligent, talented and witty woman I have ever met. I'm sure I drive her nuts with my crazy ideas of backpacking Mongolia, but she puts up with me. Let's see if she still does when I actually take off one day. What? It could happen. « less
