Hi:
I have published three ebooks on Amazon Kindle, Smashwords, B&N, etc., and would be delighted if you would add one or more of these books to your TBR list. If you could also write a review, that would be super.
The titles and links for the books are as follows:
The Ghost Of A Flea - Murder in the Big Apple
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003WQBD96
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/20838
Quarantine – A sci-fi thriller set in East Africa
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ZSHNUO
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/21720
The Watcher – An occult horror thriller set in New England

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.
Have a great day.

Hi Barri, Sorry to be so long getting in touch with you. I just finished putting my second book, Shadows on th' Unstable Wind on Barnes and Noble's ebook website, also Lulu.com's website. I felt this was the best way to push for author name recognition. Hope it works. I also put my essay "Why I Write" on Bonzer.com's website and it appeared this month, if you get a chance, check it out and give me a review. Love to hear from you again, Judith Joyce Poe. email me at cjp6979@gmail.com when you have time.
Hi, I am Denise and I have just started up the group Rigmarole. It is a group that is actually a game where you start a story and write as much as you want of it and then leave it for other people to complete it. Please stop by and check it out, thanks!

I'm not too familiar with the state because I live 60 min south in Evening Shade, AR, but I am sure we can work out something. WIll you be a WRite to Learn this year? M.A. Meyer doesn't teach at Thayer. I probably need to get another copy of Dregs and SLipping. Is it best to get them from you? Can I order them on your website?
OMG! If you could see it in your heart to come and see these kids they would absolutely go CRAZY!!! I teach in Thayer and have been in most of your Write to Learn workshops. Besides these kids in 5th period, I have a whole 'nother class of Novels where they can read anything they choose--a lot like Nancie Atwell's Reading Workshop, but of course I have changed it around and added a vocabulary and class discussion blah, blah, blah! I know Thayer is a long way away. So, I would be willing to bring these die-hard fans half way as a surpirse treat for them if we could arrange it. THanks so much and HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Well, Barri, I have other things I would rather being doing than making myself sit down and write you a fan (;0) letter, but things in my classroom have escalladed to Nuclear War status. It all started this last summer when I decided to take some of my signed copies of books to school to let the students read them as what more enjoyment could I get out of them than watching others enjoy what I also enjoy? My fifth hour class is nearly all boys, football boys at that, and to make matters worse, all juniors. I allowed two boys to read--Dregs and Slipping and things got really out of hand. Please let me assure you that I am in no way making this story any better than it really is. They started talking about the books and, of course, then everyone wanted to read them and they started fighting over them! I am caught in the middle for they have made me hide books from day to day so others would not get them. I am running out of hidey holes! One student left a SLipping in the hall which someone got. We had to use the hall camera to see who it was and then it was neccessary to rip the book from his tear-stained fingers. Friday they came and asked me if I had 8 Days. Of course, I confessed and had to take it to school. The other day I called Garrett in Mrs. Simpson's class and told him when he finished Slipping to bring it back to me and put it in my hands because someone else--a no good girl to them--wanted to read it. She was in a different class. Well, after class five--make that FIVE OF MY UNRULY JUNIOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS came into my room and all but threatened me about trying to give the book to an outsider--i.e. one in 6th period....how could I have been such a traitor??? Well, the drama just keeps building. I had to tell Gloria that I was under threat of my life and unfortunately could not give her the book anytime this semester. I am sure that by semester's end the book will be in tatters. Oh, Well! SEE WHAT YOU HAVE STARTED!!! Now they are demanding to know when "that author" will put out more books. They have to have more.......right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally hope you get on this sight in less than 3 months and can help me out here. Caught between a Rock and a Hard Place, Rowdy!
I have enjoyed your workshops at Write to Learn and your books very much. I especially liked Dregs and Slipping. Think Slipping was my favorite-est of the favorite. Waiting breathlessly for the true Crime book. Is it out yet?
Now is your chance to help decide which two titles will be picked as The Gilded Pen Book Club's reads for July and win a copy of either DUCHESS BY NIGHT by Eloisa James or AFTER THE KISS by Suzanne Enoch!
Just check out the post on our club page to enter!

I purchased your book, Dregs, Saturday at the writer's conference. I just finished it last night. I just wanted to say it is a really good book. I would say a lot more but I don't want to give anything away. Well done. I thought since it was listed as a young adult novel, I wouldn't have to worry about getting emotionally involved in the story. HA! Much to my surprise my eyes were teary at the end. Loved it!
Hi Barri,
I bought your book, Dreg, at your yard sale....don't know if you remember me or not....I'm the crazy frugalreader lady! :D lol Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I started reading your book today! Between work and my 3 kids, I might finish it by the end of the month! ;) I only got about 5 minutes to get started on it during one of my breaks at work, but I'll let you know what I think about it when I am finished reading it!
Oh yeah, my hubby thinks I'm insane cause I came home that day and talked non-stop about how nice you were and about the true crime book you're working on! I can't wait until it comes out! Can I just stop by your house and buy my signed copy? lol j/k
Thanks! It really was a pleasure to meet you!
Carrie

Hello Barri, in Pa. missing Rusty and Hercules! Guess he's been visiting you and Marsha with Carolyn... Wanted to let you all know it's his 4th birthday today.... Talk to you again, take care... Carrie
Hi Barri,
Enjoyed your book. I hope it is doing well. I am still looking for a home for my second book, sequel to my first. I decided to stay away from PA this time around, too much bad publicity for me and they don't pay their royalties fairly. It's great to see you doing to well. Judith Joyce Poe
Hi Barri It was great seeing you at Archon this year.
Barri,
I may never get all of the Shelfari business taken care of, but I have signed up and viewed your bookshelf. I see that you like thrillers and I would have to say that I like thrillers a bit, but not as much as you. Toward the end of your shelf is Pat Conroy, one of my all-time favorites. I like the sensitive wounded male writers like Pat Conroy and James Lee Burke and the sassy broad female writers like Sue Grafton and Janet Evanovich. I am currently reading a book for my book club about vampires and witches called "Dead Witch Walking". I think the author might even be a Missouri writer? Anyway, it's really cute and clever. Thanks for inviting me to Shelfari and I'll see if I ever get my bookshelves set up!
