This is the only book I am not giving a star-rating too, as I still, days later, and not sure how I felt about this book, nor whether I liked it or not. This is very unusual for me.

Not my favorite in the series as it wasn't as funny as some of the others and it didn't have enough Ranger in it! But, a good read, never-the-less.

Now I have to wait until June for the release of #15!

The 'between the numbers' books in the series have never been my favorite, but this one was one of the more enjoyable ones. Maybe it's because I have come to expect & accept these books to be more in the rhelm of fantasy.

Diesel is back in this one (no Morelli and Ranger as usual - bummer), joined by a a character named Snuggy, another 'little person', and Doug, a talking horse. Once I could accept all that, I enjoyed the book.

Still loving the series, even reading them all in a row. I wished in this one though that J.E. would start to move the characters along a bit, as it is much more of the same. However, that also gives the series charm and a formula the reader can depend on. The books are hilarious, and a quick easy read. But, come on now Stephanie - PICK ONE (or have a little fun with both!)!!!

I decided as of the last novel, J.E. is my all-time favorite author. I love her mix of mystery, humor, and romance. I am especially hooked on the Ranger / Morelli plot line (and I'm not one normally for romance novels). I am really attached to these characters, and find myself reading one after another in the series, something I've never done with any other author.

However, I really don't enjoy the 'in between the numbers' books, such as this Plum Lovin'. It is the second one, and I guess I don't like them because they don't do much to further the storyline. I just don't get it.

In this particular book, Stephanie plays cupid in the line of business.

I didn't give this one 5-stars, because for the first 98 pages I was wondering why Stepanie was back as a bounty hunter and not working at the bat cave - how frustrating! Otherwise, a great book, guess I can forgive you Janet!

FINALLY!!! J.E. is back with the funny! This one is my favorite so far, especially since Stephanie found the Bat Cave!

I wonder .... where's the funny?? I got spoiled in some of the earlier books in the series being much more funny. I look forward to the funny parts, as for me, that's what this series is all about, since the mysteries & suspense are usually light (as compared to say James Patterson or Dean Koontz.

Still a fan though! Still moving on to #10!

I just didn't get it. But, glad I read it since it was a 'between the numbers' novel, and the storyline continues. A very fast read too, just a day.
