Barbara, I am drooling over the Kindle, but it is outside my price range at this point. It is a movitvator for me to get my story written, as they need content, and have a program to allow an author to upload their book, set their own price and earn money selling thier e book on Kindle with no overhead cost. I love reading E books, on my palm pilot or even on the computer.
Barbara, I would recommend the entire series. (Laurie King's Kate Martinelli Mysteries) Worth the time if you like mystery novels at all. Each has its own style and the characters and relationships mature through the stories.
Barb, Thanks for listing Tales of the City. I loved it. Read the series while traveling across country with my parents, and little sister, visiting my brothers in Montana and Colorado. For a while was desperate for the next one before we got to a good bookstore in Boulder.
Love this idea!!!!
