I haven't sent your book out yet...well ordered it. I read in last year for a review and really, really enjoyed it so I thought the people at PBT would be interested in it as well. I'll be shipping it from the book depository so when you get a box from there, you'll know what it is. :) I really hope you enjoy it!

    Hi Barbara,

Please stop by Second Chances and let us know which book you want - - your choices are The Bells or Shanghai Girls . . .

I did and responded to both but you never got my messages apparently. Obviously I got your message or I wouldn't have friend requested you. Problem resolved tho!! Looking forward to the book. Read a lot of good reviews about it.

That's freaking awesome!! I will meet Gaiman one day. I would love to see him speak at a comiccon. I'll make it to one of those one day too.

I don't read non-fiction very often either, but it looked so interesting. I will be sure to let you know how it is, although it will likely be awhile before I get to it. I have been trying not to add to my TBR pile, but obviously I'm not doing too well.

    Greetings,

    Re your combination request:

    Stoney Creek Collection
    Carousel Magic (see cover)
    1 readers | 0 reviews | 0 comments
    Editions:
Carousel Magic : Counted Cross Stitch Book (Book 117) by Stoney Creek Staff (see cover)
Carousel Magic by Stoney Creek (see cover)

STONEY CREEK COLLECTION, MAGIC MOMENTS BOOK 106 (106) (see cover)
    by STONEY CREEK| 0 readers | 0 reviews | 0 comments
    Editions:
STONEY CREEK COLLECTION, MAGIC MOMENTS BOOK 106 (106) by STONEY CREEK (see cover)

As you can see, the editions indicate different numbered volumes which, to me, means they are different books. I am rejecting this request. If you have information that might reverse this decision, resubmit and include that info in the associated "note to librarians."

    Thanks!

I'm really enjoying this program. Thanks for getting me started. Now I'm passing it on to friends who are readers too. We do have a lot of books in common that we have read. I do have questions about navigating the site, and will catch you next time I see you.

We both love Lee Child, Caleb Carr, John Connolly, Michael Perry, and Verghese. You already have plans to delve more into Michael Connelly, Dennis Lehane, and John Dunning for mysteries and Doris Kearnes Goodwin for history. As you likes Enders Game, you might to well to try more of the series that followed, and since you liked on Martin Cruz Smith, there is a lot of pleasure waiting from 5-6 others of his. On my part, I bought Book Thief and am ready to try a Carol O'Connell and more Alice Hoffmans. Let me know if you find newer ones from Monk Kidd or Kathryn Stockett.

Thanks for making me a friend. Since friend request messages are not available to sender, perhaps you can send me a note with what I noted in the 140 plus common books between our Shelves. (Don't want to repeat myself in any comments I sent awhile back)

Yes, I'm trying to move my card catalog which covers mainly the '90's reading over to shelfari....I did the B's today. It's kind of fun seeing what I can remember about the books and authors. for my 70's and 80's reading it is just from memory so only the books which stand out will I include.
In the 90's I read many more mysteries than I currently do.
