    The store fronted on Loma Santa Fe at corner of Cedros - corner across from station . They also owned and now lease the property across the strreet on the corner of Cedros, the 2 story brownish bldg. If you meet long time 'Solanans ' they will know of Wilkens. They have live on Canyon Pl off Glencrest forever. My cousin Jim now owns a palm tree farm with land in Encinitas.

    Solana Beach?! I spent numerous summers at Pillbox beach as my aunt, uncle & cousins The Wilkens live there. They were the owners of Wilkens Garden & Hardware on Loma Santa Fe (by railroad station) 1927 until 1990's
