Barbanellie

I own more books than I can read.... But then, I've only lived a rather short time, and an even smaller portion of that time has been devoted to reading. Pity I didn't learn sooner, though I tried everything I could to learn before school.

All the books listed here are books I own, plus some that Shelfari couldn't identify (Mostly... more »

    Hey Barbanellie,

    How goes it?

Just started school this week and the body is exhausted but the mind is racing – overall it feels terrific to be back in the classroom.

This summer my latest book was released – “Roam Italy: A Teacher and His Students Take the Ultimate Class Trip.” The book’s website is www.theclassroombook.com if you wanted to check things out.

Possible tornado warnings in NJ this weekend so I best head for cover…

    Amicalement,
    Caroline.

Thanks for the friendship invite and the note! It's always fun to see how somebody came across you in Shelfari! Love your avatar pic and your write-up. Have just quickly perused your shelf and I think it looks interesting too! I'm looking forward to taking a closer look at it soon! Gotta run, but I hope you are having a lovely day! Talk to you soon! I understand the lack of time.

If you know of any schools 9any level) that are in sore need of books, we are looking for nominees for the donations.

If you have any thoughts, please let me know!

I know, I have WAAAAy too many books, if that's possible. That's why I have so many friends here, I think. I just have lots of books in common with everyone, because I read a little bit of everything (except Romance Novels. Just can't get into them, being a stoic New Englander!)

I like having lots of frineds, i just would actually like to interact with them once in a while instead of getting a mass Note from somene trying to sell me something1

I know Shelfari is a commercial site, sponsered by Amazon. But Amazon doesn't bombard me with notes asking me to buy books. I have the CHOICE to go there or not. It's all about the approach.

My name is not common! How rude! Heh, just kidding.
Yes, Stephen King is a legend, I love all of his books (well, almost all...can't say much about The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon or Thinner).
I do like the classics (especially books like Wuthering Heights, Tess of the D'Ubervilles, and more recent authors like Evelyn Waugh and P.G Wodehouse, and most of Shakespeare too) although at the moment I'm on more of a Science fiction and fantasy route. Although I still read my fair share of classics as for my English course!
Thanks for noting me and for the welcome in the Cell thread!
