Bummer! Maybe if you tried going and made a list of things that you want help with, then they would have to help with those areas and not just give you answers. You are already doing one of the best things to improve your writing: read, read, read :). Also, maybe try getting a book on how to improve writing or grammar.

Don't give up :). Have you tried going to a writing lab or tutorial at school? I would recommend trying one. They can really help improve your writing.

I miss all of my students so much. Since I'm teaching summer school, I don't miss teaching, but I do miss teaching my academy kids :). You'll love how many books are available at the library. Do you have access to the public library? Most of the books I've read, I got from there. You can even request them online and pick them up when they are ready.

Of course...I just finished The Earth, My Butt, and Other Round Things. That book was about a teenage girl and there is a little romance in it, but I don't read regular romance novels. What other types of books do you like? What are you doing this summer?
