I'm a 30 year old father of two adorable daughters and the husband of the greatest woman in the world. My wife and I are actively involved in the preschool ministry at our church in Dothan, Alabama, where my wife also works as a preschool teacher during the week.
I am a Civil Draftsman by trade, but a writer at heart. I hope to one day pursue a career as a novelist in the Christian Fiction genre. But in the mean time, I dabble a bit with short stories and poetry that I enter in a weekly writing challenge at Fairthwriters.com. If you're interested, you can view my writer's profile at www.faithwriters.com/member-profile.php?id=27732. I certainly would love to get your opinions and feedback on these articles if you have time. You may post your comments here, or if you would like, you may email me at krodgers@johnson-reeves.com.
I also enjoy reading. The majority of the books I read now days fall into the Christian Fiction Suspense/Thriller genre. Some of my favorite authors include Eric Wilson, Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti, Tim Downs, Randy Singer, and a host of others.
I am always searching the web and local book stores for interesting new authors to read. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them my way!
For those of you that would like to plunder through my book shelf, the following is a guide line for what you'll find there:
1. books found in "I'VE READ" folder = books I've completed
2. books found in "I'M READING" folder = the book I'm currently reading at the time, as well as the (2) two books I plan to read next.
3. books found in "I PLAN TO READ" folder = books I currently own, but haven't yet read.
4. books found in "OWN" folder = all the books I currently own including those I've read, as well as those waiting to be read.
5. books found in "WISH LIST" folder = a short off-the-cuff list of a few books I plan on buying soon.
6. books found in "FAVORITES" folder = a few of the more recommended reads from my "I'VE READ" folder. Though it wasn't easy, I somehow managed to shortened this list to just a few books...however, after I think it over a little more, I'm sure I'll be adding a few more to the list.
