I was surfing on shelfari, and guess what I found? You may find this very interesting…check out a member called( Indigo CT USA) This is the type of racism I write about in Cosmic Beginnings, but in my novel that particular element gets a major STOMP DOWN…looks like the K is still alive and well….that’s why I write so controversial and raw.

    Make Merry....

"Better your anger and fears flow like ink from a pen onto the page, or paint onto a canvas, than blood on the sidewalk. Better your blows strike the faces of drums or cords of melody, than the faces and backs of women and children!"

I will do that. I am just completing a new book titled, "Belief & Behavior: Religion's Sad Story in the US." I just finished the manuscript Monday. Now, it is rewrite time, the time I hate most. Stay in touch.

    Dear Friend.
As one of the three admins for the Friendship for Universal Peace group, I am trying to get in touch with as many members as I can who have not been very active in the group lately. We basically just want to remind everyone that we’re here and to invite you to peek in and see what’s going on as the group continues to grow and spread our shared wish for peace throughout the world.
If you have been popping in and participating, please ignore/forgive this message. It’s hard to keep track with so many of us. If you haven’t visited recently, come on by when you get the chance. We look forward to seeing you.

RE: Political Ads Targeted on Shelfari Discussion Board

    Dear People,

I created/started the 'ROOTS' discussion board on Shelfari.
There is currently a thread called " Obama is who he says he is".
I just noticed that there are ads, paid for by the McCain-Palin 2008 campaign, on the side and bottom of the posts.

I don't think this is proper or fair. It's certainly not balanced.
I find this offensive, targeted and biased.
What is your position on this?

    Peace,
    "Guided by the Ancestors"

Interesting life story of teaching and more and wonderfully diverse shelf. I note we have 24 books in common and would dare to recommend Derrick Jensen to you, especially his most recent long tome "Endgame".

Bakari---I know this is you. I am Darry from DC. We met in Portland at a conference many years ago with Linda Christiansen. I've been wandering what you were up to. Sorry to hear that you are not in the classroom any longer. You got me reading and thinking about critical pedagogy when I was just a pup. I am now an AP in a high school in DC. I would love to catch up with you bruh. Cuidate
