Bakari---I know this is you. I am Darry from DC. We met in Portland at a conference many years ago with Linda Christiansen. I've been wandering what you were up to. Sorry to hear that you are not in the classroom any longer. You got me reading and thinking about critical pedagogy when I was just a pup. I am now an AP in a high school in DC. I would love to catch up with you bruh. Cuidate

Just peeping your profile and it seems we have a lot in common when it comes to literature. I invite you to read my book "Soldier Poet" by: Valderia Norris and tell me what you think.

    Hi Bakari,
I just noticed that you rated the 'No Logo: No Space, No Choice, No Jobs' by Naomi Klein; the book with the 'No Logo' logo on its cover. (Sorry, I just couldn't resist). How is 'Photoshop CS3 Restoration and Retouching Bible'?

    Peace,

I'm interested in the last title you put up here, God's Problem. I see you have also read Dennett and Dawkins et. al. I'm not surrounded by people who look to the Bible for answers, but perhaps you are. It's just not a common reference book anymore. Do you find people still try to find answers, justification and explanations there? My cohort is mostly secular and existential.
