The Amityville Horror

“It's been sooooo long since I read this book, I don't know how I'd feel about it now, but, back then it terrified me. I wanted to stop reading and couldn't. When I'd finished it, I actually took it to the library night drop to get it out of my house. Had I purchased books at that (impoverished) stage of my life, I'm sure it would have been thrown in a dumpster on the other side of town. That's how scary and evil it seemed to me. Who knows, it may seem lame now but I'm not taking any chances by reading it again.”
