It was the book "Tithe" by Holly Black. It was kind of sick and twisted. Poor white trash meets the underbelly of Faerie society. There was some allusions to gay S&M, raves, alcohol and substance abuse, and above all NOT well written. A weird book to recommend to someone. It might take me a long time to ask her for another recommendation. If you ever come across a good read you'd think I'd like, please shoot me a note with the recommendation. I loved everything you recommended!I hope your mother does better soon. Good luck in the moving process. Moving can be so overwhelming. We still all miss our favorite librarian! Take Care!
We have a new librarian, and while she seems really nice and hardworking, the book she recommended to me was awful, seriously it BOMBED! Yours were always great!
Hi Mr. Jeff!The kids are still on strike from the library as they are missing their fave librarian. I told my friend Darby you were gone and she said, "But we're going to miss him!" Then her little one (Maddie) started up with the "But WHY is Mr. Jeff gone? But WHY, but WHY?. . ."The Rothfuss read was great! It was a lot of fun, but I knew you wouldn't stear me wrong. Hope you're having fun where you're at.
