I inherited my mom’s easy personality, and it was my mom who got me addicted to reading. Remember the scholastic book fairs in elementary school, my mom would buy me at least five books every time.

I’m an English major and think I might want to get into teaching. I love to knit and draw with chalk pastels. I spend three months in... more »

Not that good of a read. I found this book to be slow moving, well written but slow moving. Just about every time Stephenie Meyer had a change to write in some action, or some way of making this a great read, she didn't. I think this will be a good movie, but the book was just not that good.

Wow, what a disappointment this was. I'm a big Diana Palmer fan and I hated this book. She is 19 and he is in his late 30's at least, even one of the characters remarks how it's just barely NOT statutory rape, but it may as well have been for the way he fell on her and how she was crying and in pain because it was her first time and she said stop. What happened Diana?

This is book is set in the early 1900's or late 1800's I think but it's far from a boring book. These girls are able to go into another realm and Gemma is falling in love but also in danger as the evil that killed her mother is growing stronger and closer to her. She must find her path in life and discover strenght to fight the darkness.

The concept of the book is really cool but the book falls short...or long in this case. This book is far too long. The author just took to long in making her characters do anything. I was bored with this book before I made it halfway through. I was even more disappointed because I love books so much. I LOVED the idea about a book about books and reading. I'm looking forward to the movie. For the first time in my like I think that the movie will be better...much better... than the book.

This is one of my favorite books. I love the way the author took the story of Ciderella and turned into to another story, different yet still cinderella.

This was a very well written book, the emotions of the characters was well displayed and although it is sad (rape and murder) I enjoyed it.

I read the fisrt six chapters and had to stop. The story jumps from one point of view to another so many times it become had to follow the actual plot.
