I'm Lindsay, I am just a movie junkie who enjoys a good read every now and then. I really like to cook and enjoy great music as well.

Cute. The art is simple yet mesmerizing. The characters are all very interesting. I was expecting to get bored at some parts but it didn't happen. Every panel pulled me in to the story.

First half is absolutely amazing, the second half kind of died off for me but was still interesting. I was way more interested in the story of Patti and Robert, not so much interested in all the famous artist/writers/musicians they met. After a while it just became kind of a name dropping. She made me fall in love with Robert right a long with her. Way more interesting than any fiction relationship story I've ever read.

I couldn't even get past the first 2 chapters. The style that this book is laid out, makes it absolutely unreadable. Not sure if it was just my edition, but I think it's in most/all. The dialogue is not parenthesized, and there are no paragraphs. I'm sure it's an amazing story, you just have to be able to read it.

It go a bit dull near the end. But still, I liked what ran through her head. No sure what else to say about this book. Parts of it I loved and parts of it I had a hard time getting through.

I had watched "Slumdog Millionaire" before reading this book and expected a story as captivating and thrilling as the film. But it fell short. WAY short. This book was cliche, tried WAY to hard to be "shocking" in some chapters. There were chapters that were just plain dull and unnecessary. I felt like Swarup was just adding stories to make the book bigger. All in all, it's a great disappointment. It's one of the very rare occasions where the movie is much better.

Overrated. Didn't feel anything towards the main character.
