    Hi Bacchusroge,

I hope all is well. My latest crime novel ASK THE DICE has been published by Crossroad Press who has also brought out novels by Tom Piccirilli, John Lutz, and Ed Gorman. Please consider reading ASK THE DICE on your favorite e-reader. The cover description for ASK THE DICE appears below.

Thank you for your continued interest in reading my books.

    Best regards,

    Ed Lynskey

    Cover description:

Over the past two decades, Tommy Mack Zane has faithfully worked as a contract killer for Watson Ogg, the Washington, D.C. crime boss. Now middle age creeping up finds Tommy Mack edgy, jaded, and weary of his grisly trade. As he contemplates retirement, he is framed for the murder of Mr. Ogg’s niece. Desperate, Tommy Mack enlists the aid of his friends, the mercurial D. Noble and burly Esquire to do battle with Mr. Ogg and his mercenary “dark suits.” A new, better life filled with his passions for poetry and jazz drives Tommy Mack to the slambang climax where a few dark secrets about his past are unearthed.

Through some diabolical glitch at Shelfari I ended up with TWO accounts and could only sign in to the newly created one. So I've had to transfer all of my books and, more or less, start from scratch. In the process I've also lost all of my "friends" and "followers". I've tried to get Shelfari to correct the situation to no avail. They keep referring me to Amazon and the Amazon "help" people claim never to have heard of Shelfari. Hope you'll continue to "follow" me at my new location. Happy Fourth of July! Gunter (Actually Happy FIRST of July!)

Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie is a great mystery read. You'll love the main character. That's all I'll say that and it's such a good mystery that I'm not tempted to read the end too early.

Just dropping by to say hello. I am concurrently reading "Hearts in Atlantis" by Stephen King and "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman. Have you come across anything dynamic lately or have any old favorites you'd like to recommend? Cheers

Somehow "Starfist:A World of Hurt" is juxtaposed against the cup of twinings lady grey tea I'm drinking on a balmy Carolina morning. You have a compelling array of tomes in your collection- one that would require the discerning reader to return its treasure trove- to cut through the bull with the knife-you have neat stuff. yours, Jason R.
