Where to start?? I am an avid reader, I am a lesbian and have been with my partner for over 9 years, we have three kids together..a five year old girl and twins, one boy one girl, that are three. I am currently attending the University seeking my degree in computer science or something of the sort. I love almost any book however I tend to judge a book by its cover, I don't like to read the back or a description because I like to be surprised so I mostly base my feelings off the cover. I tend to buy a lot of books and then put them into the "going to read" pile. I know I will get to them because I enjoy reading so much. I love reading books that are in a series, I hate getting into a really good book just to have it end, I love if I can continue the story. Also I re-read books a lot. I am really into what some would term supernatural fiction. I love vampires and witches and werewolves and faeries. Although I want to make it clear...THIS IS NOT BECAUSE OF TWILIGHT. Yes I read the books, I liked them they were good, the writing had a lower standard but nobody can say that Stephanie Meyer did anything wrong because she wrote to her audience and she wrote a series of books that not only made her a ton of money but that reached so many people. There are people who never liked reading before that picked up her books and got engrossed in them. Not the best example of literature sure, but anything that gets people reading isn't all bad. Rant over lol..Anyways I think that it is really exciting to delve into another world to escape reality even for a short time. I have been reading for as long as I can remember and now my collection is huge. My partner always jokes that I need my own bedroom just for my books. Which is true. She wants me to get an e-reader and convert my collection to e-books. I don't think she has a clue as to how expensive that would be.
