I've been dying to re-read 'Kingdom of Dreams' but I can't find it in any library here in Miami :( I'll have to purchase it first chance I get. It's just such a shame. If it were in a library I could have it right away. There's something about her books that makes me want them NOW when I want to read them, lol

Thanks for the Christmas greeting...it was appreciated. : ) RL is going well for me. Keeping busy with family, and job.
Haven't hardly had time to finish my latest book ; although it's a great read.

There's a book by her for me to check out then. I love McNaught's writing. And no I don't have Facebook at the moment, but I might in the future. I just never do go into those places much after I set up my profile, so I'm not sure if I should.

    Merry Christmas to you! :D

I liked 'Tuesdays with Morrie.' It was a very sad but very sweet book. I might watch the film adaptation at some point, though I've seen previews and it's amazing how much Mitch (the actor chosen for the film) looks like Mitch the author. Very good casting there.

Are you enjoying 'Someone to Watch Over Me'? I haven't read that one by McNaught. I'm polishing up a Christmas-themed thriller for today called 'Slay Ride,' by Chris Grabenstein. It's the first time I read this author, but I do hope I'll enjoy his work since I want to read two more of his books that are YA.

Hi there. I'd be fantastic if I didn't have a horrible cold, but I do. Hopefully I'll be over it by the 24th, cause I wouldn't be too happy about being sick around Christmas Eve.

I was reading 'The School for Husbands' by Wendy Holden but had to skip through and skim along the book after the first 10 chapters 'cause it was just far too boring. I didn't see the humor anywhere. And believe me, I looked. Tomorrow I'll start Mitch Albom's 'Tuesdays with Morrie.'

What about you? How are you, what are you reading? :)

As long as your not in stop & go traffic it should e OK. Maybe on a road trip if you have daily traffic jams. I turn the radio off if I have to drive in it, but have it blaring otherwise. Audio book would be a good change for me when traveling to Cincinnati.

Have you ever listened to audio books while driving to work ? Have friends who will do so because their commutes are so long.

I like some of MJs songs. But honestly, I'm so annoyed about the over-publicity he's gained since passing away, that I've kept a distance from his music for now. I understand he was a music icon, that he's had a lot of fans, but enough is enough. It's like beating a dead horse. I always feel that way whenever any celebrity just continues to be poked and prodded at long before the news has turned into last year's announcement.

I tend to really enjoy artists like Daughtry, Lifehouse, Nightwish, Bon Jovi (such a huge favorite!), Nickelback, the PCDs, Shinedown... My taste usually goes towards the Alternative Rock music genre, now that I think about it. But overall, I like everything (as long as the lyrics appeal to me).

Hi! I've got a wide assortment I'm reading this week - I have so many books on hold at the library that I read them as they come in! Right now I'm reading teen fluff (Hunted - a book in the series House of Night - Vampires - I enjoy vampire stories with twists), The Sari Shop Widow by Bantwal (I really enjoy her work and her twists on old/new world, Travels with My Aunt which has been recommended to me by several people and Breathing Rice (poetry/essays) by Jean Lin. Once these are finished I'm going to finish with Welcome to Higby by Mark Dunn. I like his work and he always thinks out of the box on his ideas and formats. I just finished Ibid by him which I thoroughly enjoyed. How about yourself?

Absolutely. I'm eclectic in my music taste. Aside from...classical country or death metal, I'm easy to please in the music department. If the song appeals to me, then that's all it takes.

    What about you?
