Azuree

I am a young adult and reference librarian on Long Island who loves to read and is addicted to books on CD. I'd have to say mystery is my favorite genre and I still enjoy reading young adult books so I guess I'm in the right career. Although reading is my favorite hobby, I also like watching movies and taking road trips.

Thanks, I haven't yet read Wicked Lovely myself so I'm going to try that one next! I'm listening to Looking for Alaska now as a way of re-reading it because John Green is coming to my school in November. I'm not crazy about the reader though; am especially disappointed with Alaska's voice.

I just finished Linda Fairstein's Killer Heat. Your review came up and I concur with your thoughts. However, I did enjoy reading it, as I do all of her books.
Thanks for contributing to Shelfari and encouraging newbies like me to get more involved. What a great medium for avid readers to use to contact each other. I am excited to see that there is a Dean Koontz group. Thanks.

Dear Blue: If you like novels that take you on an adventure in far far away places, please be on the lookout for my new novel, HUNTING THE KING, coming in April.

HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon."

While the book isn't available until April, you can find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kunati Books and other googleable sites. You won't be disappointed.

To get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heartpounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at www.peterclenott.com. Let me know what you think. Your response will let me know if I am reaching the right readers. Thanks.

I hope you will take the time to view my YouTube book trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-t0K34iU6g. I am doing some research about potential characters to play the lead role in the upcoming movie. Hope you can help me out. As Ralph Eggleston Director/Production Designer of Pixar Animation Studios said,
"I LOVED the book! It's a missing, ENDLESSLY fascinating link to the history of Hollywood. Thank you for researching and writing it!! I hope it's been widely well received, as it deserves to be." Best wishes. Gaelyn
