I read the whole set of books one after the other in about a week. Paige was a little different in this than the earlier book, but I think that was more because she was being seen through the eyes of another person and in this one you're getting her perception instead.

I've yet to read a book in this series that I've disliked!

What a blast! Without giving anything away to those who haven't read the book it was awesome to see Jeremy's super-cool blasted away by Jaime!

I picked up all three of the books in this series and started to read this one a month or so ago. I've yet to finish it - which, for me, means that it's not a good read. From the chapters I have read, I felt that there was very little depth to Kitty and the writing style had a very childish slant to it - although the sexual references show that it's not a book for children... it's just, for want of a better term, meh! Since I have purchased all three, I will read them, but i think they will be designated to that pile of "desperate for anything to read while waiting for a new goodybox from amazon to arrive".

An amusing look at the more negative aspects of the signs.

This is a book written for kids, to be sure but if you are a dragon lover like myself you have to have it in your collection. It's beautifully put together with little envelopes and flaps with "treasures" inside and deserves a place on any bookshelf!

I'm about half-way through this book now and, I have to admit, it's not at all what I expected - and that is a good thing! I was expecting the usual storyline, girl finds out about strange beings/powers, gets involved, learns how to use it and blah blah blah... no depth, no real connection to the character but that's not the case with this book. It drags you in from the start with a gritty description on Joanna's attack and subsequent rescue, followed closely by a scene that you don't usually find in these books. A brilliant opening by a new author. I have the second book on my shelf waiting for me to read once I've finished this one. Well worth the money!

Hilarious... once you've finished being "fluffy-ised" go read something which actually talks to you as an adult, instead of as a child ;)

  • Thoth Tarot Deck with Other and Booklet
    • Rated 5 stars

I adore my Thoth deck. I'm not a follower of Crowley's teachings in any way. But having used many different decks over the years, I've found the the Thoth brought forth more information and gelled with my own talents far more than any of the others out there.
This is not a deck for frivolous use. There is power to be used within these cards and they are, without a doubt, strong. I often come away from a reading with a headache, due to the detail they give me. But with patience and perseverance, they are an awarding deck to become acquainted with - regardless of their relationship with Crowley. Whether you agree with Crowley's teachings or not is irrelevant for the using of this deck.

  • Tarot for Your Self

A good book for the newcomer to the tarot and for an established reader. For newcomers it takes you through the painful process of learning the cards and numerous layouts, while for the established Tarot reader, it hones your empathic talents and teaches you some new methods to use the cards to their best advantage.

Awful! If you're a self-confessed fluffy bunny then you'll probably love it. If, however, you are serious about the Craft of the Witch and all it entails then, for your own sanity, do not buy nor read this book. I read it with gritted teeth and under-the-breath mutterings... Terrible!
