“The Hadron Collider has opened a small hole into Hell, and now the Great Malevolence is sending his troops into a small English town. The only thing between it and the End of the World is a ten year old boy.
This is a great book that blends physics with fantasy. The writing is witty, and there are lots of laugh out loud moments. Connolly injects humor into the entire book (e.g., a town called Lovecraft, and a house on 666 Crowley Road.) If you enjoyed Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, you'll love this book!”
