This is a truly scary book! I couldn't put it down.

The Hadron Collider has opened a small hole into Hell, and now the Great Malevolence is sending his troops into a small English town. The only thing between it and the End of the World is a ten year old boy.

This is a great book that blends physics with fantasy. The writing is witty, and there are lots of laugh out loud moments. Connolly injects humor into the entire book (e.g., a town called Lovecraft, and a house on 666 Crowley Road.) If you enjoyed Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, you'll love this book!

This was a quick read! I enjoyed its characters and their travels. Even though the ending was a bit predictable, this book was more about the journey than the destination.

I can handle explicit and TMI, but boring, shallow writing turns me off every time. The only things saving this from a one-star review were the butchering scenes, which were interesting.

Started out well, but then just went downhill.

This is an incredibly thought-provoking book, plus it has zombies. What more do you need?

I thought this was going to be predictable and long, but I was wrong! It has a certain gothic spookiness to it, and I really enjoyed it!

Some parts were kind of predictable, but it wasn't bad!

It started out great, and ended weak. I really like how the different facets of Olive's personality are on display.

It was ok. The writing is incredibly wordy, and the narrator is unreliable and unrealistic.
