A. W. NUTTER

AUTHOR: SHIMMER & DADDY'S GAME

I still reside in the same small town in West Virginia where I was born and raised. I had an interest in writing early on and my enjoyment only grew as I got older. I have always favored fiction/horror novels, my favorite author being the master of horror himself, Stephen King. ... more »

Jewels Treasured By Her Family A.W. Nutter, an author of thriller Novels!, 09/01/2007 Jewels Treasured by Her Family is normally not my type book that interests me. However, I was hooked after the first couple of pages. I found myself reminiscing about my own childhood experiences. The author has a unique way of bringing the characters in her book alive making it an enjoyable read. Julia Johnson's book is appropriate read fro all ages. It offers a little something for every reader and has great closure.

By B.Brown "B.Brown" Sister Light, the first published work by B.B. Walter, is a vividly descriptive tale. Each page sweeps you away with prose that propells the story forward. The primary character of this tale is wrought with inner turmoil that reflects the fastly approaching external conflict of the world around her. I was swept along right up to the end and left wanting more at the book's finale. I'm anxiously awaiting the sequel in this fast-paced fantasy trilogy! You must read this book!

By Pat (New York, New York United States) Dusty is the charming story of a little boy named Timmy and his relationship with a kitten he finds and names Dusty. The reader will follow the two as they encounter everyday life filled with joy and tears. The author has written a story that pulls at your heart and reminds us of the importance of our animal friends. A shining tale to be read and reread to children of all ages.

  • WOOFFER: Stories You Can Read To Your Dog (And Other Children)

By J. Porter "Judith Porter" There's nothing like getting caught up in a story. Being an armadillo lover, I wanted to attend the armadillo party. But, alas, I could only read and enjoy the antics of Claudie and dream of her delicious sauce for the worms. After all, I couldn't be a gate crasher like Willy and Nilly 'Dillo. There are so many other creatures that fill the pages of Betty Fasig's delightful read-aloud style book Wooffer. There's Larry, Curly and Moe, the three most homely cats anyone would want to meet, Ho Chi, the pig, A.A. Corn the squirrel, Agnes, mother of thousands, and Mr. Hoy T. Toity, to name a few. Their stories are short and poignant and will appeal to readers young and old. I was touched by the moving story of Old Laddie, left on a country road to die and how the other fur and feathered friends helped him find a new home. This is a book to own and share. I found it delightful and I'm sure you will too.

    Shimmer

A thrill ride a minute. A truly original story line. I found this book hard to put down and found myself allotting time in my busy schedule so that I could resume reading and find out what would happen next. Just when I thought the ending had been set the author took me on another avenue of thought and left me pondering what will the future hold. I look forward to this books sequel to see what the author might have in store.
If you find this book causing you to think about loyalty, truth, God, injustice, family ties and death you will not be alone. Perhaps the Shimmer for each of us is just a breath away.

    I Don't Scare Easily, But..., October 5, 2007
By Tree Good "author of The Language of Poetry

A well-written, graphic journey through the minds of a psychopath and his victim. This book is not for the young, the squeamish or those faint-of-heart. I cannot say that I enjoyed it, the subject itself does not allow for enjoyment, yet I found that I could not put it down once I started reading it. The horror of it held me transfixed. It does however, come to a most satisfying conclusion.
What makes this book most frightening is knowing that there really are people out there who are exactly like Mr. Nutter's characters, John and Michael. What makes this book so satisfying is knowing that there are also people out there who are exactly like the characters, Bob and Helen. A. W. Nutter is indeed, a spellbinding story teller.
