I try to read a diversified selection of books, and I tend to stick to 18th and 19th century British historical fiction, but truly, anything goes - suspense, thrillers, historical... more »

I've been meaning to read Jane Boleyn but my last NF was so boring I've been dragging my feet about it. I'm glad you gave it such a good review-I'll have to look for it now! Enjoy The Lady Elizabeth-I loved it!

I've never been a huge vampire fan but I guess I'll check them out-as soon as one finally sits long enough on the library shelf for me to find it!

I read Austenland, too. Have you read any other books from Shannon Hale? She usually writes fantasy for young adults, but she's a great writer.

I guess I'm going to have to see what Twilight's all about-I went to visit my former neighbors this weekend and she was reading it too!

Now have you actually read the Twilight series or are you just a movie addict? Let me know what you think of the Bourne series-Brian didn't like them much

hey there! I must say I didn't enjoy Hood although everyone else on here seems to. I had a hard time finishing. I just found The Independence of Miss Mary Bennett by Colleen McCullough yesterday-she wrote my favorite Rome series. From the book jacket it seems like Darcy and Elizabeth are having issues-hopefully it will be good though.

I had a great time last weekend! I haven't gotten around to Hood yet-I'll let you know. I've been enjoying the flu this week courtesy of my coworkers-I hope you've avoided getting sick.

Oh, I wish I had so much time for reading! I'm told these years are the hardest, but that it will be easier when things settle down. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I can't turn in work half done. I'm just a bit stressed right now, partly because I have to take a science lab because it is a required class. I'm still on Persuasion, horrible, I know that I can't even finish a book. I'm just so busy, do you ever get the feeling like there is just NO time? Thats me most of the time! :) Hugs!

Thanks for the info on half.com-are they usually in good condition? I was thinking of hitting the used bookstore off Midlothian Turnpike soon-I haven't been there in years-nothing beats just browsing through the shelves!

Hi! Do you have a recommendation for a Jane Austen inspired book? I'm not sure where to start!

I liked Flaw because I haven't come across too many period pieces that are from the medical perspective. Where are you getting all of your P&P sequels? My library is sorely lacking in that department. I may need to visit the library of Alethea :) Have a good weekend!

I'm a junior in college and I will graduate next May. I'm excited because I will be out in the 4 years that I was hoping, I don't have to stay longer than planned. I have that book in my to read pile so that's good to know. The spinoffs are usually fun so I'm hoping I like that one. I love Persuasion so far, and I love the movie so I'm enjoying it. I'm reading The Gilded Age for a history course on Industrial America. Are things going well for you then? What kind of job do you have, I never did ask did I?

I liked A Flaw in the Blood but I wish she would come out with more of her Austen series-those are the best!

Hey! How have you been? I'm back in school now and things are already starting to pile up, but I want to read so bad. I'm hoping to finish Persuasion this week with any luck. What are you reading?

Mainly just Mr Darcy Takes A Wife and it's companion-my library in Winston didn't have too many along that line, I'm hoping for better here!
