I don't know much but I know she's got a blog that you can get to from her site, www.maggiestiefvater.com and she's posts a short story every friday. She's been a waitress, calligraphy instructor, and a technical editor, of which none have worked out. She lives in Virginia, with a husband, two kids, two dogs, and a cat. She's seriously my favorite author ever and I want to be her best friend.
