Colleen McCullough AO is an internationally acclaimed Australian author. Colleen was born in Wellington in central west New South Wales to James and Laurie McCullough. Colleen McCollough burst onto to the global literary spotlight with the novel, "The Thorn Birds". Since then there has been no looking back for her. She has cemented her place in the club of great writers with her "Master's of Rome", a series of 7 books. Her books always have a historical background, are thoroughly researched but at the same make an enjoyble and sometimes racy read. She dusts and bring's back to life history from ancient times to the quite modern times.
