James Robert Davis is an American cartoonist who is best known as creator of 'Garfield'. He has acted as writer and producer of the Garfield TV specials and Garfield & Friends TV show through the 1980's. Davis is also written a trilogy of CGI direct-to-video movies about Garfield released yearly from 2007 through to 2009.
