Writer, translator, and editor working in the United States since 1992. Most noted for her manga translations, including Sgt. Frog, Rozen Maiden, Maria Holic, Dazzle, Cross, and Spiderman J, she has translated numerous art, architecture, and design related articles for various publications, as well as audio tours for museums and attractions such as the Met and Centennial Park. A licensed architect, she also works as a communications consultant on building projects involving Japanese architects/builders. She is a passionate natural perfumer and foody, and has written extensively on alternative medicine.
