Kimberly Stuart (edit name/settings)

I'm not the author, but I know who is.  I went to college with Kimberly, and we have remained friends though that was ... ahem... a few years ago.  When I saw her listed here I made sure to invite her to participate in Shelfari.  Hopefully she'll be with us shortly, and then I'll let her introduce herself officially.  I will say that she is as witty and personable as her main character, but I know that she values her own family life even as she struggles to balance it with her professional obligations (again like her characters).  In her real-life, I understand this to include a little privacy... so I'll let her decide what more to say.  I just wanted to let you all know that Kimberly is the real deal, so I hope that you will continue to pick up her books and suggest them to your friends and family!
