Ann H. Gabhart is a native Kentuckian and avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. With more than 20 books published, she writes inspirational fiction about small town family life, the Shakers and other historical time periods. Her Shaker novel, The Seeker, landed on the ECPA Fiction Bestseller list last fall, and The Believer, also a ECPA and CBA bestseller, was nominated for a Carol Award as best historical romance novel of 2010. In 2009, Ann’s book The Outsider was a finalist for ECPA Book of the Year in Fiction.
Angel Sister will be a featured alternate choice by Crossings Book Club in February and a featured alternate in Doubleday Large Print Book Club in March. A self-professed country girl, Ann and her husband, Darrell, live on a farm not far from her childhood home. They have three adult children and nine wonderful grandchildren.
