 Henrik Ibsen was an extremely influential Norwegian playwright. He is called the father of modern drama, and he has influences many artists, from George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde, to James Joyce. He is most known for masterpieces like Peer Gynt, Kejser og Galilæer and Gengangere. Ibsen is consideres to be the next most played playwright in the world, with William Shakespeare as the no. 1.
