Although born and raised on a farm near Abilene, Kansas, Patricia Davids now lives in Wichita with her husband of thirty-five years. Every one of Pat's heroes contains a little bit of her main man. After a nursing career in NICU that spanned three decades, Pat has hung up her stethoscope to write full time, spoil her two grandchildren and catch up on a little yard work.
