Bethany Hamilton is an American pro surfer. At the age of 13 she was attacked by a 14 foot long Tiger Shark and miraculously survived. Ever since she has been writing about her experiences and in that time a movie has been released. Her books are all about what happened, how she got over it and how she faced the challenges that she would have to face with one arm.
