Oliver Jeffers has won numerous awards, including the Nestle Children's Book Prize Gold Award, the young children's category of the Irish Book Awards, and the Blue Peter Book of the Year. He has twice been shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal.
Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Jeffers lives and makes art in Brooklyn.
