Chey penned her first poem in kindergarten, and has been writing ever since she can remember. She always knew one day she would write novels, hoping her readers would get lost in the worlds she created, as she did in her favorites.

Now, Cheyenne’s goals and dreams are now a reality. For St. Martin's Press, she writes the hot new “Lexi Steele” suspense novels, beginning with The First Sin in Feb. 2009, followed by The Second Betrayal in late summer 2009. She’s also excited about her new urban fantasy “Night Tracker” series which starts out with Demons not Included in June 2009. Chey wrote the bestselling "Magic" series along with two high-octane suspense novels for St. Martin’s.

Cheyenne loves the heat and lives in the Southwest. She has three sons, three dogs, a messy house, and she will do just about anything to get out of cleaning, which may be why she writes so much.
Chey loves writing and traveling! The places she'd give anything to go back and visit (like now) would be Monaco, and the French and Italian Rivieras. The Bahamas and Hawaii would be nice, too. Actually, she'll go anywhere-just send her a plane ticket and she's outta here.
When writing fantasy, Chey loves to put on the soundtracks to The Mists of Avalon, all of The Lord of the Rings CD's, Anna and the King, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Pirates of the Caribbean , The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. Her all time favorite movie soundtrack is Gladiator--perfect for writing battle scenes to.

When writing contemporary fiction involving cowboys (okay, Chey has a weakness for men in tight Wranglers, cowboy boots and a Stetson.....) she loves the voices of Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Joe Nicols, Clint Black, and Randy Travis and will write to anything those cowboys sing ;-)

Color: HOT pink. But she loves men in all black.... <wicked grin>

Movies: Gladiator, and all of the Lord of the Rings trilogy (Aragorn is to DIE for.) She especially loves action and adventure movies, fantasy, and futuristic.

Romance Movie: Anna and the King (so, okay, they don't actually get together, but to have a man look at you like Chow Yun-Fat looks at Jodie Foster....ohmigod.)

Sport: Chey loves basketball, especially college ball and the U of A's men's team.

Foods: Thai, Indian, Mexican, Italian, French, Greek, Russian, Austrian, Chinese--she loves it all, and she'll try just about anything new.
