About me:
I'm currently an Austinite, but I was born in New Jersey (don't tell anyone). My interests are numerous and ever-changing, which means I've picked a pretty good career path. I'm a writer, which means I can make up whatever I want. And get paid for it! I currently write two series: the first, the Gray Whale Inn mysteries, is set on the rocky coast of Cranberry Island, Maine, and is both culinary and cozy (two of my favorite things). I'm also working a new series, called Tales of an Urban Werewolf, which is a fun paranormal romp scheduled for release next spring from Ballantine. (And I've found out so many interesting things about werewolves -- who knew?) When I'm not working, you can often find me on the Town Lake Hike and Bike trail or a Starbucks (I have a bad, bad coffee habit). I don't have cable, so unless it's on DVD at the library, TV isn't much of an option. I am a voracious reader, though.
