Arra edited the overview of Lynn N. Austin Friday, September 21, 2012.

    • Lynn Austin is one of my most favourite Christian authors.  I've read every book she's written.  Lynn is not only a phenomenol writer but well educated and well traveled.  She lived in Bogota, Columbia for two years due to her husband's job and used the B.A. she'd earned at Southern Connecticut State University to become a teacher.

Lynn and her family have lived in Indiana, U.S.A.; Ontario, Canada; and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and it was during the long and cold winters in Canada that she used her time to practice her life-long dream to write.

Two of Lynn's passions are history and archaeology and while researching her Biblical fiction series 'Chronicles of the Kings', she did graduate studies in Biblical Backgrounds and Archaeology through Southwestern Theological Seminary.  She even traveled with her son to Israel during the summer of 1989 to take part in an archaeological dig at the ancient city of Timnah.

Lynn resigned from teaching in 1992 to write full-time and has penned "series" as well as "stand alone" novels.  You can read more about Lynn at her website: http://www.lynnaustin.org
