I wish Frank Mac Court could read my words and know how much I admire him. I adored his book, Angelas ashes, something he surely heard thousands times. I loved the boy he was, who made me cry and smile , I have much affection for his brothers Malachy and Michael. I had to read this book to discovet how poor Ireland was in the 40s F. Mac Court also gave me a history course in his very true and human way. It took me some time to come to the end as I read it in English - I'm French - but I was so glad at night to have a great "date"
