David Axton is one of many previously used pen names of author Dean Koontz. However, the only novel written by Koontz with this pen name is Prison of Ice. All novels following Prison of Ice were written by another author named David Axton, a pseudonym supposedly used by a British thriller writer whose identity is unknown.
