Tracie McBride is a New Zealander who lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and three children. Since making her first fiction sale in 2004, her work has appeared or is forthcoming in over 80 print and electronic publications. She won the Sir Julius Vogel Award for Best New Talent in 2008. She wrangles slush for horror magazine Dark Moon Digest and is vice president of the writer's co-operative Dark Continents Publishing.
