Lisa's been a TV writer/producer, written labels for bean cans, and penned a speech for a president of the United States. Her debut novel MILLICENT MIN, GIRL GENIUS has won numerous accolades, including the Sid Fleischman Humor Award. Lisa's STANFORD WONG FLUNKS BIG-TIME was named ALA Notable book and the NEW YORK POST called it,"a heartfelt, funny story about a loveable underdog."

SO TOTALLY EMILY EBERS, the last of the Millie Trilly was released in April 2007 and GOOD LUCK, IVY, an American Girl novel, came out fall 2007. Her most recent young adult novel is ABSOLUTELY MAYBE, and September mared the debut of her chapter book series beginning with BOBBY VS. GIRLS (ACCIDENTALLY).
