“What a great author! I have just finished reading "Dreamers of the Day" by Mary Doria Russell and am so impressed by her writing, knowledge and storytelling. I learned a lot, was reminded of things I "knew" before (since I had read about Gertrude Bell in "The Desert Queen" and have seen "Lawrence of Arabia" many times) and was thoroughly enthralled with the story of Agnes Shanklin. I am inspired to read "A Thread of Grace" immediately as a result.”
