Selamawi Haileab Asgedom, also known as Mawi Asgedom, is author of Of Beetles and Angles, an autobiography of his journey from Ethiopia, his birth country, through Sudan, where he was in a refuge camp for three years, and finally to the United States of America.
He lived in Chicago, (Wheaton, IL) and attended Harvard University where he graduated with top honors.
Asgedom recently released a fantasy book based in East Africa titled: The Third Harmony (2010), and is already working on the next book in the series.
