Greg is the writer of <strong><em><u>Three Cups Of Tea </u></em></strong>. The book is about his quest to climb K12, how he tried and failed because he got lost on the mountain. Fortunately one of the men who was traveling with him, "Moazofer" found him and they travled to Korphe; Mortenson promised to build a school because he saw how much children needed/wanted education. Greg left to go raise money for the school; it was hard he gave up his house, food, his car and his life for his promise! But when he returned with money (mostly from others who gave him money), instead of a school the village said that they would rather have a bridge, not just a cable and a box, So they built a bridge and then a school then he organized the CAI (Central Asia Institute) The things he did was life changing and he's just one man!
