Charitable Focus: children's issues, inner-city poor, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world

Hobbies and Interests: Off-roading of all types, flying airplanes, scuba-diving, boating, reading, writing, creating or designing anything new, traveling, humor, soccer, football, and history

Idiosyncrasies: Bad at spelling (had to spell check "Idiosyncrasies"), have no patience with gadgets, like to eat the salt out of the bottom of potato chip bag, and a bunch of others my friends and family are too gracious to tell me about!

"Woulda-Shoulda-Couldas": would have liked to have gotten more of a "classical" education in college, shouldn't have purchased some of that Florida investment property . . .

Countries Visited: Canada, Mexico, Japan, Korea, England, Grand Cayman, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, French Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Croatia, Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Greece, Monaco, Vatican City, and a whole bunch more in my mind.

Personal Heroes and Mentors: Father Jim Brady and mother Gayle Brady, Pastor Robert L. Dickie, grandfather (deceased) Floyd Rushlow, Orrin Woodward

Favorites from History: George Washington (I know he's almost a cliche', but he's still my favorite), Ronald Reagan, and Abraham Lincoln, in that order. Also Benjamin Franklin, Mark Twain, the apostle Paul, Lord Admiral Nelson, Frederick Douglass, John Calvin, Harriett Beecher Stowe, St. Francis of Assisi, Martin Luther.

Favorite Sports Coach: John Wooden

Favorite Authors: Martyn Lloyd-Jones, John McArthur, Jeff Shaara, Joseph Ellis, Patrick O'Brian

Embarrassing Moments: Lost spelling bee in 5th grade by misspelling the word "use" as "y-o-u-s-e" (told you I was bad at spelling!), walked through a plate glass window at work, trailer came off my Jeep in traffic, my first one hundred landings in an airplane, and many more.

Favorite Splurges: Popcorn, Vanilla Shakes (the only true flavor, everything else is a shameful modification)
