“Okay, maybe Stephenie Meyer's writing is the best, but I have read worse. I'd personally like to see more books by her. The Host was good, and it wasn't too bad writing wise. I want to see if it gets better as she writes more books.”

“Oh GOD Meyer, The Twilight Saga was TERRIBLE.The worst part of it all was that I can think of a million ways to make it better. But I can't write all of them, so I'll only put some.First of all, Edward is an abusive boyfriend.Don't even try to deny it. He controls Bella, doesn't let her see her friends, is always insulting her, and makes her do things she doesn't want to.The book would have been SO much better if you acknowledged the fact that he was an abusive boyfriend and had the plot of the book as Bella trying to get over him and Jacob helping her.There are a lot of books where there are abusive boyfriends, but the thing is your books say what he's doing is OK and normal boyfriend behavior.It's so NOT OK. Second of all, Bella is a mary sue.She's apparently "ordinary" yet all of the guys like her. And the whole "She's not a perfect character because she's clumsy and withdrawn!" argument doesn't work because that just adds to her allure.Third of all, don't worry, this is my last one, THE VAMPIRES SPARKLE. What more can I say?”
