Nicholas J. Ordinans was born in Staffordshire, England and for thirty years worked as a zoo keeper, specialising in the care of wild cats, birds of prey and reptiles. He now lives in the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia with his wife, also a former zoo keeper, and who now works in the art world. Here, following his early retirement from zoo keeping, he has continued to write multi-genre fiction in which 'ordinary people deal with the extraordinary'.
Nicholas is also working on his fascinating memoir of three decades of zoo keeping in both England and Australia, which is to be entitled 'Whose Zoo?'.
