anne tyler is perhaps one of my all time favorite authors. it was not always the case. in high school i read earthly possessions and had to analyze it. we overanalyzed it and i thouhgt for sure my distaste for books would last. my first summer our of high school low and behold what happens...i am BORED and need something to read. i pick agatha christie and anne tyler. little did i know that i would read all of anne tyler's books and have her latest on my nightstand patiently waiting to be read. something we don't know what life has in store for us. i am happy to have anne tyler's books around, they are like old friends. thank you!! cagrowngirl
