Shawn Underwood, author of the highly amusing Mommy Are We French Yet?, lives in Washington with her husband, three children and two dogs. Her book tells the tale of a year spent living abroad in France and the fabulous misadventures that manage to befall her and her family. Included are stories of breaking the language barrier, occasionally met with only limited success, which will bring a bubbling bout of laughter to any willing reader.
She has traveled extensively, bringing along her children whenever possible. While only her time in France has been published thus far, she has many humorous tales to tell. She is the humor columnist for her regional online newspaper and regularily contributes short stories to other writing groups.
