Teresa Flavin (edit name/settings)

Teresa Flavin is an illustrator who is also an author of fantasy adventure novels for ages 9+. Her critically acclaimed debut novel, The Blackhope Enigma (Templar Publishing UK), was short-listed for a number of UK book awards and was a Junior Library Guild selection for Fall 2011 in the USA (Candlewick Press). The sequel, The Crimson Shard, is also published in the UK by Templar and in the USA by Candlewick Press. It was a Fall 2012 Junior Library Guild Selection and was nominated for a 2013 Teen Choice Book of the Year. Templar will publish The Shadow Lantern, the final novel in the Blackhope Enigma trilogy in the UK in May 2013.

American-born Teresa lives in Scotland, which provides the setting for The Blackhope Enigma. She maintains a studio, where she not only writes, but illustrates and makes paintings for gallery exhibitions.
