M.K. Hobson's short fiction has appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, SCI FICTION, Realms of Fantasy, and many other fine publications. Her debut novel (THE NATIVE STAR) came out from Ballantine Spectra in 2010 and was nominated for a Nebula Award. The sequel (THE HIDDEN GODDESS) hit the shelves in May of 2011. She lives in Oregon with her husband, daughter, and a menagerie of pets.
